These batteries get up to 4X the runtime of standard lithium-ion batteries and are built for high performance and are protected from overheating, overloading and overcharging through their Triple Protection Electronics design. Their chemistry allows for maximum performance in temperatures as low as -4 degrees and up to 120 degrees F, so you can confidently use them year-round. The charger is compatible with all RIDGID 18V Batteries. RIDGID MAX Output EXP batteries utilize advanced intelligent electronics to optimize performance by creating a communication system between both tool and battery. MAX Output EXP batteries features ThermaGuard Technology which combines oversized heat sinks with advanced intelligent electronics to keep the battery running cooler, prevent overloading, and protect individual cell performance. Backed by the Industry's Only Lifetime Service Agreement, this kit includes two 4.0 Ah Batteries, an 18V Charger, 12.0 Ah MAX Output EXP Lithium-Ion Battery.
